Steel gates, railings, balustrades and ornamental ironwork are constantly exposed to the elements. Rust and failing paint coatings are inevitable without regular maintenance. Our mobile shot blasting service strips all rust, old coatings and corrosion to bare metal, creating the anchor profile required for a long-lasting protective finish.
Why Shot Blast Steel Gates and Railings?
Complete rust removal — shot blasting removes all rust, including from pits and crevices that wire brushing cannot reach.
Anchor profile — creates a 40–70 micron surface profile for maximum paint adhesion.
On-site service — no need to remove and transport gates or railings. We blast in situ.
Sa 2.5 standard — all work is carried out to ISO 8501-1 Sa 2.5 (near-white metal) as standard.
What We Blast

After Shot Blasting
After blasting, steel must be primed within 4 hours to prevent flash rusting. We can coordinate with your painting contractor or provide a combined blast-and-prime service.
