Factory cladding, industrial cladding panels and steel sheeting are exposed to the elements and subject to corrosion. Shot blasting strips all rust and old coatings to bare metal, preparing the steel for a new protective coating system that will extend the cladding's service life.
Factory cladding is typically at height. Our teams use mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), rope access and scaffold as appropriate. All work is carried out in accordance with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
After blasting, factory cladding is typically coated with a zinc-rich primer, epoxy mid-coat and polyurethane topcoat. We can coordinate with your coating contractor or provide a combined blast-and-prime service.
